📄️ Step 1: Booking Details
Booking Details is the first step of the public booking page. This is where a guest picks the date, the type of booking, the time, and the number of guests before ActiveBooker calculates a price. It works without any account or login — anyone with the booking link can use it.
📄️ Step 2: Add-ons
Add-ons let a guest attach optional extras — equipment, food packages, upgrades, and similar items — to their booking. This step is conditional: it only appears at all when the chosen booking type actually offers add-ons.
📄️ Step 3: Your Info
Your Info collects the guest's contact details, any location-specific consent, and — for booking types configured to ask for it — a gratuity choice, before the guest moves on to Payment.
📄️ Step 4: Payment
Payment is the final step of the booking flow. Depending on the location's setup and the amount currently due, the guest either enters card details to pay now, or simply confirms the booking with nothing to pay upfront.
📄️ Booking Summary & Pricing
The Order Summary panel is not tied to a single step — it's visible throughout Booking Details, Add-ons, Your Info, and Payment, showing the guest a constantly updated view of what they'll pay. This page explains everything shown there: the live totals, the promo code flow, and exactly how the final price and deposit are calculated.
📄️ Receipt
The Receipt page is reached automatically right after a successful Pay & Book or Confirm Booking. It's the guest's confirmation that the reservation was created, along with a full, printable record of what was booked and what was paid. This page is shared across all booking layouts.
