Announcements & Updates

We use announcements to keep you informed about new features, improvements, and important system information.

Where to Find Announcements

You can view announcements in two places:

On Your Dashboard Home - The Latest Updates section shows the five most recent announcements. This gives you a quick glance at what's new each time you log in.

In the Announcements Drawer - Click the announcements icon in the top navigation bar to see all announcements, including older ones. The drawer slides in from the right side of your screen and lets you browse through the complete history.

Latest Updates

Types of Announcements

Product Updates let you know about new features we've added or improvements we've made to existing features. For example, when we redesign the booking calendar or add a new reporting tool.

News covers more general information like scheduled maintenance, quarterly summaries, or system status updates.

Important Announcements

Some announcements are flagged as "Important" with a red indicator. These typically involve:

  • Scheduled maintenance that might cause brief downtime
  • Security updates that affect your account
  • Changes to features you're currently using
  • Unexpected service issues we're working to resolve

When you see an important announcement, read it right away. These often include dates or actions you need to be aware of. If there's scheduled maintenance, you might want to avoid scheduling important bookings during that time window.

Reading Announcements

Each announcement card shows the type (Product Update or News), title, a brief summary, and the date it was published. Click on any announcement to read the full details.

From your Dashboard Home, clicking an announcement will show you the complete information. In the Announcements Drawer, click any item to expand it, then use the back button to return to the list.

Some announcements include tags that indicate what topics they cover, like "Calendar", "Email", or "Reporting". The full announcement might also include links to related documentation if you want to learn more.

A Few Tips

Check the Latest Updates section when you log in, especially if you haven't been in the system for a few days. This helps you stay current on what's changed.

If there's a maintenance announcement, note the date and time. You might want to avoid scheduling important work during that window.

When we announce a new feature, give it a try. Most new features are designed based on customer feedback, so they're likely to be useful for your business.

If you're having trouble viewing announcements or need to reference an old one, the Announcements Drawer keeps a complete history. Just click the announcements icon in the top navigation.
